Meet The Team

David

David is Managing Director and has a wealth of experience in the manufacturing industry, including owning his own factories in the UK. His background gives him a highly focused insight into the needs and abilities of manufacturing companies, particularly as he is fully conversant with high QC standards and has a strong bias towards engineering.

Being fully equipped to understand the potential pitfalls that may occur during any new project, David’s long experience in dealing with Asia gives him an invaluable understanding of the Chinese working way. He spends much of his time in Asia alongside our Chinese team to support and assist our factories, helping them maintain the high standards and levels of product innovation that we pride ourselves on being able to offer clients. David is an excellent problem solver and thoroughly enjoys any challenges that a project might throw at him.

Jenni

New to the team, Jenni is the key to seamless co-ordination between clients and our Chinese team. She brings with her from her previous role of 18 years, extensive experience in procurement, and a proven record of building strong international customer relationships. This enables trust to be placed in the company to deliver to the client’s expectations. She believes maintaining good relationships with suppliers is also key to ensuring quality and time pressure issues are met and resolutions are worked through as a team.

Jenni also has in-depth knowledge of organising worldwide transportation via ocean and air, particularly from the Far East into the UK and USA and loves the challenges this can present!

Annie

With a background in accountancy, Annie not only looks after the company finances but supports the team in analysing quotations and works with the factories to see where savings can be made. Annie is also involved with the transport of goods within China and shipping from China to final destinations.

Tiger

Tiger is based in the Ningbo area of China and has worked with Drakon International since 2005. He has an extensive background in manufacturing and an in-depth knowledge of injection moulding, plastics and silicones. Tiger spends his time visiting and looking after current production as well as sourcing and auditing new factories. He is well versed in local government policies and laws giving him an excellent understanding of commercial issues.

Ian

Ian is based in the Yongkang area of China and has worked for Drakon International since 2011. He has 15 years’ experience in engineering, manufacturing, quality control and problem solving. His particular area of knowledge is the pressing and coating of a variety of materials. Ian has a very proactive approach to managing our factories, based on client’s specific requirements, focussing on quality audits, shipment inspections, and continually looking for ways to make efficiency improvements. He develops quality management plans for all new ranges, ensures that all factories follow the correct process based on these plans, and provides quality and technical support as required to assist both the client and the factory.
